The cabel is made of six 99.997% pure solid silver wires (ribbons), which are spirally braided together. The wire used to make these cables is 3 mm wide and 0.254 mm thick. No solid dielectric is used. Each silver ribbon is gently spiraled inside a strong, yet flexible OD tube, which is filled with Helium. The tube touches the wires only at the very thin edges, the flat parts of the wire is surrounded only by Helium. When meassured, the dielectric constatnt is very close to 1.0 (vacuum).
